I am so loving this outfit and how I wish I can wear this to work. hihihi. Anyway, I thrifted the checkered top, in other words galing UK. The best part is, I got it on sale, imagine 50% off and it's Ukay-ukay! Paired it with my trusty shorts, grabbed my black stockings and my stilletoes and Voila! Instant gratification. hahahaha
Checkered & Chic
I finally got myself a pair of wayfarers. Some may consider it a "no-no" but I'm pro vintage. This design has been here for 4 or 5 decades already but now it has regained its position in the fashion industry. Who can forget that wayfarer worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie "Breakfast in Tiffany's" or the glasses worn by Tom Cruise in his 1983 movie "Risky Business." Here are some famous celebrities donning wayfarers.
and here's me. hahahaha

My Apologies
Sorry for the gap, I've been busy.
Really, my camera just arrived from New Zealand. Yep, my camera went to NZ without me. hahaha. Anyway, I've got lots of pictures to upload but maybe later 'coz honestly I feel like I'm floating right now due to lack of sleep.
So, yeah. I'll be back soon. Meanwhile, why don't you guys groove on with this track, it's going to be related to my next batch of posts.
I know you're dancing.

Don't worry, I won't tell a soul. hihihihi
A Dash of Posh(ness)
Victoria Beckham is a fashion icon but I'm not really into her style. Then again, I was wrong. I saw this picture while stumbling online and I can't help but compare it to mine.

I got the dress from Maze (Ayala). I didn't buy it at first 'coz twas mighty expensive but the second time I saw it, it's already on sale. tehee.
Shorty Get Loose
One thing I like about fashion is its continuing efforts to bring back the past. Right? If you disagree then tell me why people nowadays wanted to wear their mother's pants or shorts. I'm talking about high-waisted jeans and shorts. As for me, I'll go for the latter. I have a feeling that high-waisted pants will only make me look shorter. The moment I saw these shorts on the racks I immediately fell in love with it. Even though there's no special occasion for it, I bought it out of curiousity. They say that the key to this trend is to pair it with a simple blouse or even a shirt. Sometimes, simplicity is the best sophistication. Sorta like this one:

Why the Title
Hey guys, this is my second blog. The title "One Way or Another" doesn't really have any significance at first. Let's just say that I got a lil tired with my other blog and you know, sometimes you do things without any reasons at all. However, while blog hopping, I found a lot of blogs that are into fashion. Not those kind of fashionista blogs wherein you have to buy signature items but those kind of blogs where the owners express their own style. I was kinda envious when I saw them play dress up whenever they have some good finds while thrifting or when they go to bargains. So, I've decided to make my own. I am not quite the fashionista but I have a style I can call my own. Of course, I am not saying that I am not influenced by trends. I am but I have my own way of doing it. So now, this blog is going to be my fashion outlet. hehehe. Because one way or another, we girls have to dress up and be on the spotlight.
